Terms & Conditions – Voice SIM (Calls + Data)

By applying for, receiving, and/or using this Voice SIM (calls + data), you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Service Overview

This service provides a Voice SIM (voice calls + mobile data) for use in Japan, according to the plan selected at the time of application.

2. Plans and Monthly Fees (JPY)

  • 1GB – ¥3,980 / month
  • 20GB – ¥7,980 / month
  • 50GB – ¥8,980 / month

Fees may be updated due to pricing revisions, campaigns, or operational cost changes. The current price shown on our website applies.

3. Initial Charges, Advance Payment, and Due Date

  • Initial fee (administration/processing fee): ¥3,000
  • One (1) month monthly fee in advance: included in the first bill.
  • Payment due date: 30 days after you receive the SIM card.

4. Delivery, Activation, and Billing Start

  • Shipping timeframe: approximately 3 to 15 business days after your documents are submitted and verified.
  • Automatic activation: the line is considered activated when the SIM card is received.
  • Billing start: charges apply from the moment of receipt/activation, even if you do not insert or use the SIM.

5. Contract Term (12 / 24 / 36 months), Auto-Renewal, and Cancellation

You may choose a contract term of 12, 24, or 36 months at the time of application.

  • Minimum contract term: 12 / 24 / 36 months (as selected).
  • Auto-renewal: at the end of the selected term, the contract automatically renews for the same term (12→12, 24→24, 36→36), unless cancellation is requested correctly and on time.
  • How to cancel: cancellation must be requested at least 1 month before the end of the contract term.

Examples:

  • 12-month term: request cancellation in the 11th month to cancel at the end of the 12th month.
  • 24-month term: request cancellation in the 23rd month to cancel at the end of the 24th month.
  • 36-month term: request cancellation in the 35th month to cancel at the end of the 36th month.

6. Early Termination / Late Cancellation Fee

If you cancel:

  • before the end of the minimum contract term, or
  • without the required 1-month notice,

a termination fee may apply. This fee may be equivalent to one or more monthly fees required to close the contract, depending on the plan conditions and remaining contract term.

7. Calls and SMS

  • Unlimited domestic calls in Japan: available, except for certain special numbers such as 0570, 0800, and other excluded services/numbers.
  • SMS to Japanese numbers (+81): ¥10 per SMS sent.
  • International SMS: ¥100 per SMS sent.

Recommendation: avoid using SMS whenever possible. Use SMS mainly to receive verification codes and use messaging apps such as LINE, WhatsApp, WeChat, etc. for communication.

8. Required Documents (Identity Verification)

To complete the application, you must submit a clear photo of both front and back of one of the following:

  • Japanese Driver’s License (front & back), or
  • Residence Card (Zairyu Card / 在留カード) (front & back).

Passports are not accepted for this service/application.

9. Non-Payment, Suspension, and Restrictions

  • In case of late payment or unpaid balance, the service may be suspended.
  • Unpaid balances may result in credit/restriction listings (blacklist) or other usage restrictions.

11. APN Setup

  • After shipment, we will send the APN setup guide by email.
  • For iPhone (iOS), please connect to Wi‑Fi to complete APN setup.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as needed for operational, technical, or legal reasons. The latest version will be published on this page.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
