Install from a QR code shown on another device or on paper

Use this method when the QR code is displayed on another phone, a computer or a printed page. Connect your iPhone to Wi‑Fi and keep the QR code private.

1. Add the eSIM

  1. Open Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM.
  2. Choose Use QR Code.
  3. Scan the complete QR code.
  4. Follow the prompts to Continue / Add eSIM and wait for setup to finish.

2. Set up mobile data

  1. If useful, label the new line Aurora Net.
  2. Keep your usual line for calls, iMessage and FaceTime.
  3. Select Aurora Net for Cellular Data.
  4. Turn off automatic cellular data switching if you want to prevent your main line from being used for data.
  5. Turn on Data Roaming for Aurora Net only when your eSIM instructions require it.

APN

If an APN is required, use the exact APN shown in your purchase email, My eSIM page or connection details for that profile. Do not enter a generic APN.

3. Test the connection

Turn off Wi‑Fi, wait for network registration and open a new page in Safari. The first connection can take a few minutes.

Do not delete the eSIM while troubleshooting.
