Install from a QR code saved on the same iPhone

Try Quick Install first. If your Aurora Net page shows “Quick Install / Install eSIM,” that is the preferred method.

1. Add the eSIM from the QR code on your iPhone

  1. Open the QR code in your email, Photos or browser.
  2. On supported iOS versions, press and hold the QR code until an option to add the eSIM appears.
  3. If the option appears, tap Add eSIM and follow the prompts.
  4. If it does not appear, use manual setup with SM‑DP+ details.

2. Set up mobile data

  1. Keep your usual line for calls, iMessage and FaceTime.
  2. Go to Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data and select Aurora Net.
  3. Turn off automatic cellular data switching if you want to prevent your main line from being used for data.
  4. Turn on roaming for Aurora Net only when your eSIM instructions require it.

APN

If an APN is required, use the exact APN shown in your purchase email, My eSIM page or connection details for that profile. APN settings can vary by plan.

3. Test the connection

Turn off Wi‑Fi, wait for network registration and open Safari.

Do not delete the eSIM while troubleshooting.
